Emergency Shelter

The Salvation Army Richmond House is a year-round, 24-hour, minimal barrier 60-bed Emergency Shelter for men, women, and transgender individuals.

In addition to providing shelter for 60 guests, Richmond House offers three meals daily, shower and laundry facilities, and access to critical support services, such as access to life skills training, employment programs, counselling, case manangement, and information and referral to other social services and community resources. Storage space for carts and belongings is available. Pets are allowed. Wheelchair accessible. Please note that priority is given to Richmond residents.
